Mariana Almaguer
Mariana del Carmen Almaguer Castañeda has a degree in Sciences of Education. She is grateful for having worked in numerous educational projects with indigenous and marginal communities in many cities and towns of Mexico.
Currently, Mariana collaborates as coordinator in the project management area of the Humanitarian Education Alliance. There, she is a mentor of the Guardians of the Planet program. She plays a lot with many boys and girls and enjoys going from town to town here at Lakeside promoting awareness and a respectful way of coexisting with all the living beings.
She has been a professor in Primary and Secondary schools in social skills and subjects like values and care for the living. Also in Universities, she has taught in areas of investigation and systematization. She is passionate about the educational work with youth and likes to take care of plants, animals and humans.
With her great sensibility, skills, and social commitment, Mariana supports ChangeMakers by promoting our program through her work and with her vast experience and knowledge, she is an exceptional advisor for our educational program. Thank you, Mariana, for enriching our work!
