Claudia Alejandra Garcia is a psychologist by profession. Inspired by her mother, a retired teacher with 40 years of experience, she leaned towards education, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Education in the area of Teaching and Research. Claudia has been involved in projects at all educational levels. She was coordinator of CAS in the IB program of the International Bachelor, a program that allows students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development by learning through experience. “That collaboration made me feel more love for the teaching role, especially with university students,” she says.

Claudia is also an associate coordinator in the Planet Guardians program of the Alliance for Humane Education, where healthy coexistence is promoted in schools. The program addresses conflict resolution as a healthy way of life.

She says she admires the people and projects that positively impact society. “I think that all of us at some point in life are agents of change and teachers of life and I have been fortunate to meet many of these beautiful people in my life.”
